Mystery Headlamp Bulb
had a 2012 5 series with these, my buddy’s old 958 cayenne with the upgraded LEDs had them and same with the new cayenne with the upgraded matrix LEDs. All 14 LR4s were face lifted and had the new front end and light style. On another note, why does it seem like all the 10-13 models fitted with the HID Adaptive Xenon lights didn’t have those corner lamps/dtrls (labeled #4 on the diagram)- Jimmy Brooks

random things can go bad probably just happened to be the starter for you. I agree though, it is early but probably just bad luck. It could also have been bad connections too. New engine noise
Probably did the maintenance himself to save money, or took it to another shop. You’d have serious sludge buildup and would’ve probably went through a chain or engine if it was actually ran for 40k on the same oil.- Jimmy Brooks

This is a super impressive spec. Lux, Extended leather, HD package, adaptive cruise control. I think this one has every option except for rear seat entertainment. Plus with the bonus of low mileage and the garage kept. Super impressive. Price makes sense, you don’t see these anymore.- Jimmy Brooks

Can't get into Extended mode
My advice is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. My rear air struts are still original with 146k on the clock. They work great. Front and compressor have been done. mine makes that noise sometimes too. it goes away most the time, i always though it was a little bit of chain rattle before thinking rod knock. beside the point, if it was rod knock my oil filter would've been full of metal and its not. Greasy transmission, should I be worried?
I’ve had mine done when my trans blew. Wouldn’t even touch one unless you already have to remove the trans. In another note, the D5 with the SCV6 that my parents have had to get one done at 30k miles under warranty, that one was probably just bad luck tho.- Jimmy Brooks
